The price of the dollar in Egypt recorded a new increase during trading today, Tuesday, as the American currency continues to gain and stabilizes above the level of 52 pounds in all Egyptian banks.
The decline of the pound came amid the dollar rising to its highest level in two months against major currencies, with fluctuations in oil prices and the rapid increase in treasury bond yields, despite the return of positive inflows of hot money into Egyptian debt instruments.
According to a survey conducted by "Al Arabiya Business", the highest exchange rate for the US dollar was in the banks of the Commercial International Bank, Kuwait Finance House, Alexandria Bank, the United Bank, Qatar National Bank, "HSBC", Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, "Next", and "Saib" at a level of 52.10 pounds for buying against 52.20 pounds for selling.
