Thousands of Ford and Lincoln cars were recalled in Saudi Arabia due to a defect that could cause accidents

The Saudi Ministry of Commerce announced the recall of 3,108 Ford (Explorer - Taurus) and Lincoln (Nautilus - Corsair) vehicles, model 2025, due to a defect in the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve that may lead to weak vehicle acceleration and loss of traction while driving, which increases the possibility of an accident.

The Ministry called on users of vehicles included in the recall to contact the local vehicle agents, Al Jazeera Agencies Company and Mohammed Yousef Naghi Company, to carry out the necessary repairs free of charge.

The Ministry said, “It is possible to verify that the vehicle’s chassis number is included in the recall campaign, through the website of the Defective Products Recall Center,” according to the Saudi News Agency (SPA).
