8 American "Marines" Injured in Iranian Attack in Hormuz

Washington - Afaq News - Western media reported today, Monday, that 8 members of the U.S. Marine Corps were injured two weeks ago as a result of an Iranian cruise missile attack targeting the ship they were working on in the Strait of Hormuz.

The newspaper quoted American officials as saying that "the injuries were not serious, but the personnel suffered from smoke inhalation and potential brain injuries after showing symptoms of a concussion, such as headaches."

American officials mentioned that "the Marine Corps personnel who were injured in the attack included 7 soldiers and 1 officer, and they all returned to duty shortly after the attack that occurred on September 14 of this year."

The Marines were operating as part of a Battalion Landing Team during the Iranian cruise missile attack on ships.
