The occupation continues to uproot olive trees and close an agricultural road in Deirblout

Salfit - Ofoq News - Today, Thursday, the Israeli occupation continued to bulldoze and uproot olive trees on citizens’ lands in the western region of the town of Deirblout, west of Salfit, closing an agricultural road and preventing farmers from reaching their lands.

Activist Daoud Abdullah reported that the occupation bulldozers continued to bulldoze the area, noting that they uprooted hundreds of olive trees and bulldozed large areas of citizens’ lands, with the aim of settlement expansion and building a road in the area.

Abdullah added that the occupation forces also closed an agricultural road serving citizens’ lands, and prevented farmers from passing and reaching their lands, making it more difficult for them to reach their agricultural properties and take care of their olive trees.

He pointed out that the continued bulldozing, uprooting of trees, and closure of agricultural roads threatens to confiscate more citizens’ lands and limit their ability to exploit and access their lands, in light of the continued settlement activities in the western area of the town.
