For his part, the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, in an interview with Al Arabiya, urged the international community and the Security Council to take a firm stance against the Houthis, revealing a ministerial meeting next week to discuss attacks by the Houthi terrorist militia.

In light of these developments, Ould Sheikh Ahmed stressed to Al Arabiya that the Organization of Islamic Cooperation supports the expansion of the Mecca Defense Alliance, indicating that the targeting of pilgrims at Riyadh Airport aroused dissatisfaction with member states, stressing that the organization will support what the Kingdom is doing and the coalition’s actions against the Houthis.
