British Foreign Office: We Will Not Allow the Destruction of the Two-State Solution

London - Afaq News - British Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband said in a speech at the Labour Party conference in Liverpool today, Monday, that the actions of the Israeli government represent "a stain on the conscience of the world and we will not allow the destruction of the two-state solution."

Miliband emphasized the importance of the two-state solution, considering that there are attempts to undermine this solution. "When it comes to trying to destroy the two-state solution, this party, this movement, this government says we will not allow you to succeed."

He added: "We condemn the ethnic cleansing practiced by the terrorist settlers in the West Bank. We condemn the war crimes in Gaza, and we condemn the illegal Israeli occupation of Palestine."

Miliband sent a message to millions of people in Britain and beyond, who have expressed their concern and anger over the suffering of the Palestinian people, saying: "I want to say to the millions of people in this country, and elsewhere, who have been affected and angered by the plight of the Palestinian people: We hear you. You were right."
