The Civil Defense explained that fragments of the intercepted missile fell in a number of locations inside the capital, noting that material damage was recorded in a kindergarten and a medical complex as a result of the falling fragments.

This comes after the Ansar Allah group (Houthis) announced that it had targeted King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh with a ballistic missile, while the details of the damage to the airport or whether the attack had affected air traffic have not yet been independently clarified.
