Saudi Arabia continues its humanitarian efforts in several affected areas, through a package of relief and health interventions implemented by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center in Gaza, Sudan, and Yemen.

In the Gaza Strip, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center has pumped 500,000 liters of water to enhance the living conditions and provide drinking water for the residents, in addition to supporting their resilience and preparing suitable conditions for recovery amid the humanitarian situation in the region.

This was done through the urgent humanitarian response project to provide safe drinking water in various areas of the strip, as part of the Saudi popular campaign to aid the Palestinian people.

In northern Gaza, the center continued distributing food baskets and drinking water to the displaced in the camps of the Mushtal area, as part of the "Good Baskets" project to support food security in the region.

A number of beneficiaries confirmed that the arrival of aid to their camps has contributed to alleviating their suffering and meeting some of their daily needs, expressing their gratitude and appreciation to Saudi Arabia and the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center.

In Sudan, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center concluded the voluntary medical project for general surgery in the city of Port Sudan, which took place from September 26 to October 3, 2026, with the participation of 7 volunteers from various specialties.

The volunteer medical team performed 98 surgical operations during the project, all of which were successful, as part of efforts to support the health sector and alleviate the suffering of vulnerable and affected groups in various Sudanese states.

As part of another relief intervention in Sudan, the center distributed 640 shelter bags to displaced persons and returnees to their homes in the Um Bada locality of Khartoum State, benefiting 4,745 individuals, as part of the "Mudad Initiative" project in Sudan for the year 2026.

The aid aims to meet the basic shelter needs of the affected individuals and mitigate the repercussions of the humanitarian crisis that Sudan is experiencing.

In Yemen, Saudi aid has reached displaced families in the Barom Mayfa district on the coast of Hadhramaut Governorate, where the center distributed 20 tents, 20 shelter bags, and 20 food baskets, benefiting 140 people.

The aid came as part of the fifth phase of the emergency shelter plan and the second phase of the emergency food intervention project in Yemen, within the framework of humanitarian and relief projects implemented by Saudi Arabia through the King Salman Relief Center to support those affected by the humanitarian crisis.
