The Yemeni armed forces announced today, Tuesday, the liberation of a mountain range in the Hifan district, south of Taiz governorate, in the southwest of the country, after battles with the Houthi militia.
The Taiz axis stated in a brief statement that the armed forces, supported by popular resistance, managed to liberate the mountains of "Al-Munzar, Al-Asharif, and Dhayban" in the Hifan district south of the governorate.
The center reported that fierce battles are currently taking place between the armed forces, supported by popular resistance, and the terrorist Houthi militia in the Quds isolation in the Al-Mawaset district south of Taiz, confirming that airstrikes targeted Houthi militia vehicles and gatherings in the Quds isolation in the Al-Mawaset district.
In the Salah front south of Taiz, the axis clarified that the Houthi militia suffered heavy losses in lives and equipment amid ongoing fierce battles on the front.
The axis had announced earlier on Monday evening the execution of five offensive operations as part of the "Yemen Dawn" operation, which included the fronts of Al-Arbaeen north of the city of Taiz, Al-Aqroud to the south, Al-Aneen and Jabal Habashi to the west, in addition to the Al-Bayrin area on the outskirts of the Al-Kadhah front.
It was indicated that the armed forces and popular resistance inflicted heavy losses on the Houthi militias during the operations in the past 24 hours, with around 100 killed and 150 injured, in addition to shooting down five drones and destroying and disabling six vehicles and a tank.
The Yemeni government forces continue their qualitative military operations as part of the "Yemen Dawn" operation, which was launched yesterday, Monday, to restore state institutions, liberate the capital Sana'a, and end the Houthi terrorist militias' coup.
The "Yemen Dawn" operation has entered a wide phase of ground and air operations on several fronts, with the government forces announcing significant progress in Bab al-Mandab and Dhubab, and the movement of the Marib and Hajjah fronts, coinciding with an intensive aerial campaign against Houthi positions and declaring Sana'a a primary target for the operation.
