Kuwait canceled all examination results for the fourth stage for applicants for educational supervisory positions, after examining the complaints raised by the applicants, for four reasons embodied in: the results of the work of the investigation committee, in addition to ensuring the soundness of examination procedures, thirdly, ensuring that administrative decisions are based on sound results, in addition to enshrining the principle that assuming educational responsibilities is based on objective foundations.
The Minister of Education directed the formation of an impartial investigation committee to investigate the observations and violations that marred the work of the fourth stage of applicants for educational supervisory positions in the Ministry of Education for the academic year 2025/2026.
On the other hand, Kuwaiti Minister of Education Jalal Al-Tabtabai approved the re-examinations for all applicants, according to specific timetables, with full compliance with the controls governing the tests, and taking the necessary measures to ensure their confidentiality and integrity of procedures, and to prevent any violations during their conduct.
Kuwaiti media reported that the Ministry of Education stressed maintaining the integrity of tests and protecting the rights of applicants, as they represent a responsibility that “does not tolerate tolerance,” pointing out that dealing with observations and complaints received from the educational field comes from a commitment to review procedures, verify their integrity, and take corrective decisions to preserve the credibility of administrative procedures.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Education added that the date of the repeated exams, their location, the duration of each exam, and the scheduled scientific content will be determined at a later time, to be officially announced by the Ministry of Education, and applicants who attended the leadership training courses for the fourth stage will be informed of all the necessary details and requirements, ensuring clarity of procedures for everyone and allowing them to prepare for the exams according to approved and announced information.
Education stated that the decision came after a series of oversight and investigative measures that were taken against the backdrop of numerous observations and complaints received during the examination period and after its end, and the objections it contained related to the integrity of the procedures and the extent to which they achieve justice and equal opportunities among applicants.
In response to these observations, and in order to deal with them objectively and responsibly, the Minister of Education directed the formation of an impartial investigation committee that includes specialists from the Fatwa and Legislation Department and the Ministry of Education, to investigate the observations and violations that marred the work of the fourth stage of applicants for educational supervisory positions in the Ministry of Education for the academic year 2025/2026.
The Ministry of Education stated that the committee examined the various aspects related to the tests, verified the procedures followed in their organization and implementation, and assessed the safety of the approved mechanisms, monitored the defects, and submitted the necessary results and recommendations to the minister to take the appropriate decision in light of the findings of the investigation.
