Many believe that the air traffic controller's job begins after the plane takes off, but the reality is quite different. During the flight, various air traffic control units monitor the plane's path and coordinate its movement until it safely reaches the airspace of its destination.

There, the air traffic controller at the airport grants landing clearance and directs the plane to the designated parking gate. Jordanian air traffic controller Batoul Al-Qatawneh said in an interview with Ofoq News in Arabic: "The air traffic controller is the voice that accompanies the traveler's journey from start to finish, without the majority of travelers realizing the amount of work and effort put in daily behind the scenes to ensure everyone reaches their destinations safely."
