Besant: The results of the economic pressure on Iran will appear within 3 to 4 months

Washington - Ofoq News - US Treasury Secretary Scott Besent revealed the details of an economic pressure plan followed by the United States against Iran, expecting its results to appear within a period ranging between three and four months, prompting Tehran to accept US demands related to its nuclear file.

According to the statements, the plan includes completely stopping Iranian oil exports, confiscating crypto-assets, in addition to weakening Iran’s capabilities to influence shipping traffic in the Strait of Hormuz.

Besant stated that the continuation of the blockade and economic pressure for several more months may force the Iranian regime to retreat. He added that the Iranian regime is "collapsing" and is facing difficulties even in paying the salaries of its military forces.

Picent confirmed that Donald Trump does not expect a new military confrontation to break out, at least until after the US midterm elections.
