In a statement by its Foreign Ministry on Sunday, the United Arab Emirates condemned “in the strongest terms the attacks launched by the Houthi group on King Khalid International Airport in the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which caused the death of 12 people of Saudi, Egyptian, Jordanian, Syrian, Palestinian, Sudanese, American, and Bangladeshi nationalities, and the injury of hundreds of civilians.”
In the statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that “these attacks represent a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a threat to its security and stability.” The Ministry affirmed the UAE's full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its support in everything that would preserve its security and stability.
The State of Kuwait also condemned, in a statement by its Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on Sunday, the attack launched by the Houthi militia on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, in a statement carried by the Kuwait News Agency, KUNA, that “the attack represents a violation of international law and international humanitarian law, stressing that the repeated targeting of civilian objects and vital installations constitutes a dangerous escalation and a threat to air navigation and the safety of civilians.”
The Ministry renewed "Kuwait's full solidarity with the Kingdom and its support for all measures it takes to protect its security, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents of its lands, and stressed that the Kingdom's security is an integral part of the security of Kuwait and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries." The Kingdom of Bahrain condemned, in a statement on Sunday, the continued sinful and ongoing terrorist attacks launched by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, the renewal of which represents a dangerous escalation and extension of the sinful aggression that targeted the same airport two days ago.
The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed "the Kingdom of Bahrain's full solidarity with Saudi Arabia, and its complete and absolute support for all the sovereign measures and legitimate measures it takes to preserve its sovereignty, security and stability, and protect its citizens and residents of its lands. United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres also condemned the attack on King Khalid International Airport, and said: “I am deeply shocked,” stressing that “attacks targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure constitute a violation of international law.” The UN envoy to Yemen, Hans Grundberg, considered, on Sunday, that the Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia represent a “dangerous escalation” and “a grave threat to regional security.”
