The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will host the continental championship for national teams from January 7 to February 5 of next year.

The Asian Confederation stated that the ball is named "Khouzama": "In honor of the wild Khouzama, which is characterized by its resilience and spreads across Saudi Arabia, Khouzama draws inspiration from the astonishing transformation in the landscape when flowers bloom simultaneously, and the distinctive purple color reflects the traditional celebratory color used to welcome honored guests, symbolizing the warm hospitality that every team, official, and fan attending the premier continental event receives." The Asian Confederation explained: "The design of Khouzama is a direct extension of the bold and contemporary visual identity of the 2027 Asian Cup, with the striking geometric patterns of the ball based on the element of the gate, which is a fundamental graphic element inspired by the entrances of traditional architectural doors in the Najd region. This gradient element in the shape of a diamond surrounds the tournament logo on the ball, embodying the rhythm and openness of the region's handicrafts. Dark purple, bright green, and sandy shades have been directly adopted from the official color palette of the tournament, creating a visually harmonious link with the overall environment of the event."

He added: "The ball is designed to achieve the highest performance levels, as the high-contrast panels in purple and white provide excellent visibility for players, referees, and fans in all match venues, ensuring ideal clarity in daylight conditions and under floodlights." The Qatari national team was the last to win the Asian Cup title, specifically in the 2023 edition.
