Bethlehem - Ofoq News - The Wall Street Journal claimed on Wednesday morning that the Houthis in Yemen are developing medium-range ballistic missiles with the help of parts imported from China and Iranian assistance, according to a new report issued by the Organization for Research in Armaments in Military Conflicts.
According to the report, the Houthis are importing various components from a Chinese supplier, necessary to manufacture a local version of Iran's Khyber Shakhan guided missiles.
The Houthi missile is expected to have a range of about 2,000 kilometers, and to be able to reach all parts of Saudi Arabia and Israel.
The report is based on information collected by the Yemeni government authorities, opposed to the Houthis, last July, after the interception of two shipments containing missile equipment.
