Arab, Islamic and international condemnations continued for the repeated attacks launched by the terrorist Houthi militia, targeting Abha and King Khalid International Airports again in Saudi Arabia, resulting in deaths and injuries among dozens of civilians.

The Saudi Civil Aviation Authority revealed that King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh was subjected to two attacks on Thursday, “resulting in the martyrdom of 3 Saudi citizens and the injury of others of different nationalities,” according to a civil aviation statement. It also indicated that the first attack targeted the airport facilities, while the second targeted a Saudi Airlines plane. The authority added that medical care was immediately provided to the injured and they were transferred to hospitals for treatment.

In light of these developments, the coalition pledged in a statement on Wednesday that “the Houthi attacks by the terrorist Houthi militia on civilian objects in the Kingdom, the most recent of which was the targeting of King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and Abha International Airport, have not and will not go unaccounted for.”

America's representative in the Security Council, Mike Waltz, stressed that his country supports Saudi Arabia and the Yemeni government in their self-defense measures, calling on Iran to stop supporting the Houthis, urging the militia to put an end to its attacks that targeted civilian facilities in Saudi Arabia.

In parallel, the United Nations strongly condemned the continued Houthi attacks on the Kingdom, including the recent attack on King Khalid International Airports in Riyadh and Abha, which resulted in a number of casualties and injuries among citizens and residents.

United Nations spokesman Stephane Dujarric stressed, during the daily press conference, that targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure is prohibited under international humanitarian law, stressing the need to exercise the utmost restraint, and take all necessary precautions to protect civilians and civilian infrastructure, and spare them the dangers of military operations.

The Muslim World League condemned - with strong condemnation - "the terrorist Houthi militia's continuation of its sinful aggression against Saudi Arabia, and its targeting of King Khalid International Airport and a Saudi Airlines plane, which led to the martyrdom of three Saudi citizens and the injury of a number of citizens and residents of different nationalities."

In a statement by the General Secretariat of the Association, the Association renewed its condemnation of these “treacherous terrorist attacks, which violate all religious values, international and humanitarian laws and norms, and confirm the criminal approach of this terrorist militia, in deliberately targeting civilians and civilian objects.”

Al-Azhar condemned the attacks that targeted Abha and King Khalid airports in the Kingdom, which resulted in a number of civilian casualties and injuries, stressing that targeting civilian facilities and intimidating civilians is a criminal act in accordance with Islamic law and all customs and covenants, and an unacceptable violation of the Kingdom’s security and sovereignty.

In a statement today, it warned of the danger of this escalation and its repercussions on the stability of the entire region, calling for an end to these sinful attacks. Al-Azhar stressed the need to respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of countries, and to spare the region from the scourge of conflict and tension.

For his part, the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, expressed his strong condemnation and categorical condemnation of the terrorist attack carried out by the Houthi militias, targeting King Khalid International Airport in the city of Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which resulted in a number of deaths.

Al-Budaiwi stressed that the Houthi militia's deliberate targeting of civilian airports and civilians requires serious international action and decisive measures to ensure its deterrence and prevent the recurrence of such attacks, which contradict the most basic humanitarian principles and international conventions.

He reiterated that the security of Saudi Arabia is an integral part of the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, affirming the Council’s absolute support for the Kingdom in all the steps it takes to maintain its security and protect its capabilities and territorial integrity.

In addition, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shahbaz Sharif, confirmed his strong condemnation of the Houthi attacks against Saudi Arabia. Sharif stressed in a statement today, Friday, that his country will continue to stand by Saudi Arabia in the face of the Houthi threat. He said: "Our commitment to the Kingdom's sovereignty, territorial integrity and security is firm and unwavering."

Likewise, the Prime Minister of Yemen, Dr. Shaye’ al-Zindani, confirmed that targeting civilian facilities and objects in Saudi Arabia is a clear expression of the state of bankruptcy experienced by the terrorist Houthi militia and its inability to confront the steadfastness of our people and the valor of the heroes of our armed forces, who today stand steadfastly and with great support from the coalition to support legitimacy led by the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in defense of the homeland, the state and its institutions,

In a related context, Kuwait, Bahrain, Egypt, Syria, Jordan, the UAE and Qatar condemned the Houthi attacks in the strongest terms, and considered that targeting the two airports a violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and a threat to its security and stability. These capitals affirmed their solidarity with Riyadh and its support in everything that preserves its security.

The League of Arab States denounced these attacks and warned against targeting vital sites, especially airports, and targeting the lives of civilians. The General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers also denounced the Houthi attacks on Riyadh and Abha airports, and the resulting deaths, injuries and material damage.

Internationally, France rejected the repeated attacks launched by the Houthi militias against Saudi Arabia, and the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs confirmed in a statement that Paris expresses its full solidarity with the Kingdom and stands by its side in defending its lands and infrastructure in the face of these attacks. The statement called on the Houthi militia to immediately stop their attacks and provocations that further destabilize the region and fuel the suffering of the Yemeni people.

The United Kingdom strongly condemned the attacks that targeted the infrastructure in Abha and King Khalid International Airport, which resulted in a number of casualties and injuries among citizens and residents.

The British Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office confirmed, in a statement yesterday, that the United Kingdom stands with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the face of the reckless attacks launched by the Houthi militia.

The European Commission expressed its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia after King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh was targeted by the Houthi militia, with two attacks that resulted in the martyrdom of 3 Saudi citizens and the injury of others of different nationalities.

The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, stressed that civilian infrastructure is an unacceptable target, noting that "Iranian proxies, in reference to the Houthi militia, are required to stop their reckless and violent actions."
