Iraqi: Iran is Ready to Resume War Even if it Becomes a Comprehensive and Destructive War

Tehran - Afaq News - Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said today, Sunday, that his country is ready to resume war in the event of a new attack, while also confirming Tehran's readiness to continue the diplomatic path.

Araqchi added in an interview with NBC that Iran is "completely ready to resume war" and will stand against any new aggression, "even if it leads to a comprehensive and destructive war."

The Iranian minister confirmed that Tehran is simultaneously ready for diplomacy, noting that the decision to return to fighting or continue negotiations is "up to U.S. President Donald Trump."
