Failure of the “Endings” Hadiths

Listen to the article. The audio text is automated, generated by an automated system

The Middle East is one of the most volatile and turbulent regions of the world, politically and socially. Culturally and media wise, it is most abundant in conflicting interests and contradictory alliances. Ideas here may lead to the opposite, and trends may revert to the opposite side... This is how it was, and this is how it is now, and the hope is that it will not remain this way for long.

In recent years, there has been strange and surprising talk of an end to some of the chronic problems in our region. There is talk about “the end of awakening,” a second about “the end of violence,” and a third about “the end of terrorism.” And there is an end to all problems of every shape and color, as if we want to overcome our old problems and deep complexes by ignoring them and forgetting them as if they never existed. This, as is known in Arab heritage, is the story of the “ostrich” that buries its head in the sand to avoid dangers.

The promoters and supporters of these hadiths about the end are well-known, and their goals are well-known. They are either tired of facing the facts, or unable to achieve their goals. They have begun to replace solid awareness and bright facts with dreams and illusions, especially since the concepts of the end of times, the end of the world, and the end of the universe have found various and multiple theories in many religions and philosophies. There is a lot of realistic science in it, and there is a lot of superstitious and imaginary in it.

Those who do not know are deceived by those who know when they do not inform them of history and reality. With ideologies and conflicts, with contradictory policies and conflicting beliefs, and the general situation deceives them by preventing information, obliterating history, despising it, and belittling its value and the status of its wisdom and logic in reading the present and anticipating the future.

Contemporary terrorists are a modern category of the “Kharijite” group known in the beginning of Islam, with differences and distinctions that can be monitored and explained. The “ancient Kharijites” and “the modern Kharijites” agree on the discourse, even if they differ in its implementation. The speech of the ancient Khawarij is known in the beginning of Islam, and the prophetic hadiths, monuments, stories, and narrations came from them. They “break out of Islam as an arrow leaves a target,” and they “They fight the people of Islam and abandon the people of idols,” and they are the perpetrators of “heinous crimes,” as Ibn Hazm puts it in his famous book, “The Chapter on Religions, Desires, and An-Nihal.” They are the ones who cut open the bellies of pregnant women, and assassinated Ali bin Abi Talib, may God be pleased with him. They tried to assassinate Muawiyah bin Abi Sufyan and failed, as well as Amr bin Al-Aas, who survived the assassination when he assigned the companion Kharijah bin Hudhafa to lead the people in prayer on his behalf. The outsider who killed him said: “I wanted a lifetime, and God wanted a way out,” so the saying became a proverb.

As repeated histories tell us, the Kharijites in ancient times divided into sects and groups, declaring each other infidels and cursing each other. They disappeared throughout Islamic history, and only a sect remained of them.

This is in the old days. As for recently; The Kharijites are “religious violence groups” that branched out from “political Islam groups,” as they emerged with complete theorization and thoughtful organization from the “Muslim Brotherhood” and its subsidiary organizations. Among its clearest examples are Al-Qaeda and ISIS... and many others. Before and after.

The Flydubai plane accident raises worthy questions, with all caution, care, scrutiny and scrutiny in any answer asked and every solution proposed. Because these questions, these answers, and the urgent search for solutions cannot be taken with suspicious comfort. Rather, they are a real and imminent danger, and the “awakening” could return violently, God forbid, and terrorism could flare up under this or that name. Through this incident or any other, only those who do not realize the power of history and do not understand its logic are safe from the deceit of days and nights and the deception of history.

Finally, if history has taught us anything; It is that “ideas do not die,” and they are always able to revive and repeat the process unless the space-time conditions that support and lead to them change. How many organizations and groups calmed down and hid underground until a time came when they appeared again, and the evidence is many.
