Tulkarm - Afaq News - Settlers attacked today, Monday, farmers from the Katana family while they were harvesting olives in their lands in the village of Al-Nazla Al-Sharqiya, north of Tulkarm, and stole their fruits.
The head of the Al-Nazla Al-Sharqiya village council, Wael Katana, stated that a group of armed settlers attacked farmer Ali Awad Katana while he was harvesting olives with his family, forcing him to leave his land and not return, and seized the olives, preventing him from taking them.
He added that the village and its lands are subjected to repeated attacks by settlers coming from the colonial outpost they established on the northeastern lands of the village after seizing them, indicating that they attack farmers and expel them from their lands under threat of weapons.
He warned that the continuation of these assaults threatens to seize more agricultural lands and deprive their owners of their source of livelihood.
