During the opening session of the ninth joint ministerial meeting of the strategic dialogue between the Gulf Cooperation Council and the Russian Federation, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain, Abdul Latif Al-Zayani, stressed the necessity of reaching a comprehensive solution that guarantees the establishment of a Palestinian state, stressing the importance of enhancing security and stability in the region.

The Minister condemned the disruption of navigation in the Straits of Hormuz and Bab al-Mandab. He also condemned the Houthi attacks on civilian objects in Saudi Arabia, stressing that the security of the GCC countries represents a fundamental pillar of international security.
