The Saudi Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources issued 438 new industrial licenses during the month of July 2026, while actual production began in 189 factories during the same month, according to the report issued by the Ministry’s National Center for Industrial and Mining Information.
The Ministry’s official spokesman, Jarrah bin Muhammad Al-Jarrah, explained that the monthly industrial indicators report shows that the volume of investments related to the new licenses has reached about $1.3 billion (4.82 billion riyals), amid expectations that these projects will contribute to providing more than 3,708 job opportunities in various regions of the Kingdom.
Al-Jarrah stated that the value of investments in the factories that began production during the month of July amounted to about $520 million (1.95 billion riyals), and resulted in the creation of 2,807 new jobs, which reflects the continued expansion of the industrial base in the Kingdom and the high pace of factories entering the stage of actual operation, according to the Saudi News Agency (SPA).
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources is keen to issue these indicators periodically through the National Center for Industrial and Mining Information to monitor the movement of industrial activity in the Kingdom, including the volume of new investments, the number of licenses issued, and factories that begin production, within the framework of enhancing transparency and keeping pace with the rapid industrial growth process in the Kingdom.
