Crown Prince of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, affirmed Jordan's absolute solidarity with Saudi Arabia in the face of attacks targeting its security and sovereignty.

The Jordanian Crown Prince stated that “Saudi Arabia’s security is Jordan’s security,” stressing that Jordan’s position is firm, and it has been and will remain alongside its brothers in all circumstances.

He said: “May God have mercy on the victims, heal the injured, and may God protect Saudi Arabia and its dear people from all evil and harm.”

This position reflects the strength of Jordanian-Saudi relations, and the two countries’ keenness to consolidate the security and stability of the region and enhance solidarity in the face of challenges.

The King of Jordan, Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, had confirmed, during a phone call with the Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, his country's condemnation of the terrorist attacks launched by the Houthi militia against the Kingdom.

King Abdullah also affirmed Jordan's full support for the Kingdom in confronting everything that threatens its security and the safety of its citizens and residents of its lands, and its full support for the measures it is taking to protect its capabilities.

In a statement, the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the continued terrorist attacks launched by the Houthi militia against the Kingdom, the latest of which was at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and King Fahd International Airport in Dammam yesterday, which resulted in the death of a resident, the injury of others, and the occurrence of material damage.

The Ministry affirmed Jordan's condemnation and denunciation of the attacks on the two airports, civilians, and civil and economic facilities in Saudi Arabia, and considered them a flagrant violation of international law, and a brutal assault on the sovereignty, security, stability, and safety of its citizens and residents.
