On the other hand, Hedy Karam addressed her marriage and divorce, explaining that she got married at the age of 18, and her husband was 11 years older than her, affirming that the age difference was not the real reason behind the end of the marriage.

While the Egyptian artist attributed the failure of the relationship to her young age and lack of life experience, saying: "My lack of experience and my young age were the real reasons behind the divorce," confirming that she has maintained a good relationship with her ex-husband despite nearly 19 years having passed since their separation.

She pointed out that her ex-husband is still an important person in her life and her family's life, and she wishes him happiness and success, and she does not mind attending his wedding if he decides to marry again.

Hedy Karam revealed a difficult financial crisis she faced after the divorce, coinciding with a period when she did not receive any new acting roles, which affected her financial situation and forced her to face difficulties in providing for her basic needs.

She explained that the crisis reached a point where she could not afford to buy food or cover fuel costs, which ultimately forced her to sell her car to obtain money and meet her needs during that period.

Karim continued her talk, explaining that her circumstances improved later after she got the opportunity to participate in a series in a leading role for a large fee, considering that what happened strengthened her faith and made her more convinced that what a person plans for themselves may not necessarily be better than what life brings them.
