Tehran - Ofoq News - The spokesman for the National Security Committee of the Iranian Shura Council, Hassan Qashqavi, said that Tehran requires the implementation of the seven conditions it announced for reopening the Strait of Hormuz, noting that the Qatari side conveyed a response in this regard.
Qashqawi added, in statements to Tasnim Agency, that the American side has not yet determined a clear position, in light of what he described as contradictory statements and the continuous change in positions.
He pointed out that American officials sometimes talk about reaching an agreement or getting close to it and about the imminent end of the war, before they return to asserting that the war will not end except with the destruction of Iran.
The Iranian proposal includes 7 conditions for ending the war and reopening the Strait, including a complete cessation of the war in the Middle East, including Lebanon, within 7 days, the release of Iranian assets worth $12 billion, the lifting of sanctions imposed on Iranian oil, and an end to the US naval blockade imposed on Iran.
