Iranian Central Bank: Tehran Commits to Facing Economic Pressures

Tehran - Afaq News - The governor of the Central Bank of Iran stated that the country is facing significant economic pressures, but it has prepared multiple programs to deal with them, emphasizing that Tehran will not allow the achievement of what he described as the American goal of pushing the Iranian economy towards collapse.

He added that the United States repeats its expectations of the collapse of the Iranian economy in a short period, but he considered that these expectations will not yield a different result than what Washington achieved during the military war.

The governor of the Central Bank confirmed that Iranian authorities are aware of the magnitude of the problems and pressures faced by citizens, stressing that the government is working to confront these challenges and maintain economic stability.

These statements come amid rising economic pressures on Iran, coinciding with American statements talking about the deterioration of the Iranian economy.
