Egyptian artists Laila Elwi and Yousra sparked widespread interaction on social media platforms during the activities of the ninth session of the El Gouna Film Festival, after Laila Elwi stumbled while carrying a cup of coffee while heading to a session honoring Mona Zaki, which prompted her colleague Yousra to calm her down, saying, “May the world be sacrificed for you.”

While walking, Laila Elwi suddenly collided with a small barrier that blocked her path, which caused her to lose her ability to balance for a moment, and caused a cup of coffee to spill on her and on the artist Yousra’s clothes.

The situation prompted the Egyptian artist to scream and throw the coffee cup on the ground, as she felt very confused and sorry, and she took the initiative to offer an immediate apology.

In turn, the artist Yousra tried to remedy the situation, with a smile and a good spirit, addressing her with spontaneous and touching words, saying: “Do not care, I sacrifice the world for you,” in an attempt by Yousra to calm her friend Laila Elwi.

Yousra and Kinda Alloush's steps preceded Laila Elwi on their way to the dialogue session of artist Mona Zaki at the El Gouna Film Festival, where they were exchanging conversations and laughter, before they paid attention to Laila Elwi's screams behind them, as they worked to calm her down from the impact of the shock of the embarrassing situation on her.

The friendship of the two artists, Yousra and Laila Elwi, is approaching half a century, since the beginning of their first artistic cooperation in the famous cinematic film “A Nose and Three Eyes” in 1980, so that the friendship between them began and continues from then until now.
