Lebanon between two conferences: “Lebanon First and Last” reveals the fraud of the “National Meeting”

Lebanon recently witnessed two conferences that reflected the depth of the conflict taking place in the country, between the sovereign elites and the groups affiliated with the Iranian axis, and showed how to manage this conflict between the two sides.

The most important constant in the work of the forum was that sovereignty remained the dominant compass, and that the broad national coalition, Islamic-Christian, for the establishment of the state was still cohesive and able to continue the struggle in new rounds. The proponents of this approach did not tire, but rather the discussion went on how to restore popular and political momentum and not be satisfied with the struggle from within the official state institutions, whether it was the Council of Ministers or the House of Representatives.

As for the second conference, the secretariat of the “National Gathering” in Lebanon held its conference on October 19 and 20, 2026 at the “Le Gray” Hotel in central Beirut, under the title “Taif: Sovereignty, Liberation, Reform.”

The "National Meeting" is a new front for "Hezbollah" that operates under the headings of dialogue and conflict resolution, while it is mainly made up of a group, some of which have a cultural title, but are committed to the "party's" literature and orientations, and others are outward thugs who have nothing to do with culture, such as Ali Hijazi, who is responsible for the dissolved Syrian Baath Party and heads the "Al-Raya" party, whose founding conference was attended by Hijazi himself and Al-Manar, Al-Mayadeen, and Al-Ahed correspondents.

The “National Meeting” conference, which bore the title “Taif: Sovereignty, Liberation, Reform,” was characterized by being a new attempt to falsify the National Accord Document and an attempt to legislate the sectarian militia action represented by the Shiite duo, especially “Hezbollah” under the title of resistance, which has fallen without recovery since its coup against the Syrian people on May 7, then involvement in the aggression against the Syrian people, and the spread of murder, terrorism, and sabotage in the Arab countries.

The "National Meeting" ignores the truth of the Constitution, and ignores the fact that sovereignty is crying in the corner with Iran's tyranny and its occupation of Lebanon through the Revolutionary Guard and the "party" forces that command the "Guards." The meeting also ignores that liberation does not mean removing an occupation and bringing in an alternative occupation, as happened between Israel and Iran. As for the Islah Party, it is from the Congress and the “party” and its allies are innocent, as they are the masters of the alliance between illegal weapons and corruption, which produced the era of Michel Aoun, and how do you know what the era of hell is?

Hezbollah wants to continue stealing national headlines, emptying them, and turning them into submissive headlines that are contrary to its purposes and objectives for which it was established, the most important of which are the Taif Agreement and the Constitution, and the claim that it has legitimized the “party” to monopolize the decision of peace and war and expose the country and its people to an endless series of security, economic, and even existential disasters.

Two conferences in Beirut: the first embodied the true sovereign alliance, and confirmed that “Lebanon is first and last,” and a conference that tried to hijack Taif, falsify it, and use it in the service of miserable dependency on Iran, under the title of “the national meeting.” This requires the sovereign powers to regain their momentum and launch a plan of action in the regions that strengthens national immunity in the face of the insolence of the Iranian party and its “cultural militias.”
