Ramallah - Ofoq News - The National Beverage Company concluded its annual campaign "Back to School 2026," which is implemented by the company in support of Palestinian students and families, by distributing more than 5,500 school bags in collaboration with over 95 associations and community organizations in various governorates of the West Bank.
The campaign targeted students from needy and low-income families, as well as sick children and those with disabilities and special needs, through partner institutions and associations that work directly with these groups and help deliver school bags to the most needy students.
Imad Hindi, the General Manager of the National Beverage Company, stated that the "Back to School" campaign reflects the company's belief that supporting education and investing in children is a real investment in the future of the Palestinian community, emphasizing that providing school supplies for needy students helps alleviate some of the economic burdens on their families and gives children the opportunity to start their school year under better conditions.
Hindi pointed out that this year's campaign comes amid difficult and exceptional economic conditions faced by Palestinian families, at a time when the costs of living and rising prices of basic necessities, along with declining purchasing power, present additional challenges for many families, especially with the start of the school year and the accompanying burdens related to bags, stationery, clothing, and school supplies.
Hindi added: "We at the National Beverage Company believe that our responsibility towards our community is not limited to our commercial activities, but extends to standing by the most needy groups, especially children and students. Through the Back to School campaign, we aim to contribute to alleviating some of the burdens on families and helping children start their school year with joy and confidence."
The Indian explained that this year's campaign has expanded in scope, through cooperation with more than 95 institutions and associations in various governorates of the West Bank, which contributed to reaching thousands of students in different areas and community segments, ensuring that support reaches the most needy groups.
He emphasized that education remains one of the most important areas of interest for the company within its corporate social responsibility programs, as it is the foundation for building a better future for children and the Palestinian community, stressing the importance of the collective efforts of the private sector and civil and community institutions in supporting Palestinian students and families, especially in light of the current economic challenges.
The company also appreciated the role of partner associations and institutions in the success of the campaign, for their essential role in identifying the most needy students and families and reaching them in various governorates, confirming its continued support for initiatives that leave a positive and sustainable impact on the Palestinian community.
The "Back to School" campaign falls under the corporate social responsibility programs implemented by the National Beverage Company throughout the year, focusing specifically on supporting education and children, empowering the less fortunate, and enhancing community solidarity, stemming from the company's belief in the role of the private sector in serving the community and contributing to supporting the future of upcoming generations.
