Qatar: Ongoing Communications to Achieve Progress in Talks Between Washington and Tehran

Doha - Afaq News - The spokesperson for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that communications and visits between the concerned parties are ongoing with the aim of making progress in the talks between Washington and Tehran, emphasizing Doha's support for any initiative taken by the countries in the region, including the 'Makkah Alliance', as long as it aims to enhance stability.

He added that Qatar is open to a visit from the Iranian side to be updated on the latest developments regarding the Iranian pilots, noting that it is too early to talk about the possibility of Qatar joining the 'Makkah Alliance', while reaffirming his country's support for any measures that would contribute to achieving stability in the region.
