Sales of Saudi cement companies in the first nine months of 2026 exceeded 39.57 million tons, compared to 40.67 million tons in the same period last year, marking a decline in total sales of about 2.7% year-on-year.

Local cement sales in the Kingdom recorded a decrease of 2.68% during the first nine months of the current year, reaching 38.38 million tons, compared to 39.44 million tons in the same period of 2025, according to data issued by "Yamama Cement Company."

Export sales also fell by 3.33% to 1.19 million tons, compared to 1.23 million tons in the first nine months of last year.

"Yamama Cement Company" achieved an increase in local sales during the first nine months of 2026 by 3% year-on-year, with its sales reaching 6.35 million tons, capturing 16.54% of total local sales from the beginning of the year until September.

Sales of "Saudi Cement" in the local market increased by 8% to 4.46 million tons, capturing 11.63% of the quantities sold locally in the first nine months of the current year.

In third place is "Qassim Cement" with sales of 3.23 million tons, but it has decreased by about 10% since the beginning of the year until September, followed by "Yanbu Cement" with 2.9 million tons, recording a decline of 3% compared to the same period in 2025.

Sales of "Southern Cement" decreased by 10% to 2.67 million tons, followed by "Arabian Cement" with an 11% decline, bringing its local sales to approximately 2.5 million tons, then "Riyadh Cement" with sales of 2.48 million tons, showing stability during the first nine months of 2026.

Five companies participated in export operations during the first nine months of 2026, with a total of 1.19 million tons, led by "Saudi Cement" with 845 thousand tons, but it dropped by 20% compared to the same period last year.

Four Saudi companies achieved a surge in exported cement sales during the current year, led by "Najran Cement" with 187 thousand tons and an increase of 15%, followed by "Al-Jouf Cement" with 95 thousand tons and an increase of 3067%, then "Eastern Cement" with exported quantities of 47 thousand tons and growth of 213%, and finally "Southern Cement" with exports of 16 thousand tons and a rise of 100% compared to the same period last year.

Cement sales (both domestic and exported) decreased during the third quarter of 2026 by 3.46% year-on-year, reaching 13.66 million tons, compared to 14.14 million tons in the same quarter of the previous year.

Domestic sales amounted to 13.31 million tons during the period from July to September 2026, declining by about 3.2% compared to 13.75 million tons in the corresponding period of 2025.

Export sales fell by 12.5% to 343 thousand tons, compared to 392 thousand tons in the third quarter of the previous year.

'Yamama Cement' was the highest in domestic sales in the third quarter of this year with 2.48 million tons, followed by 'Saudi Cement' with 1.58 million tons, and then 'Qassim Cement' with quantities reaching 1.01 million tons.

'Saudi Cement' exported 201 thousand tons during the third quarter of 2026, followed by 'Najran Cement' with 62 thousand tons, then 'Al-Jouf Cement' with 50 thousand tons, and 'Eastern Cement' with quantities reaching 22 thousand tons, and finally 'Southern Cement' with exports of 8 thousand tons.

In September, total cement sales in Saudi Arabia decreased by 8.3% year-on-year, reaching 4.44 million tons, compared to 4.84 million tons in the same month of 2025.

Local sales in September fell by about 8% to 4.35 million tons, while export sales dropped by 35% to 89,000 tons.
