Settlers attack olive pickers and solidarity activists east of Salfit

Salfit - Ofoq News - Today, settlers attacked olive pickers from the town of Jama’in, along with solidarity activists who were accompanying them, in the Wadi Yasuf area, in the villages of Yasuf and Marda, east of Salfit. They assaulted them, expelled them from their lands, and prevented them from continuing to pick olives.

Citizens reported that settlers attacked citizens and activists while they were on agricultural lands in the area, and assaulted them in an attempt to force them to leave, which prevented the landowners from continuing to harvest olives.

This attack comes in light of the escalation of attacks on Palestinian farmers in that area, which include physical assault, theft of their equipment, preventing access to agricultural lands, and forcing farmers to leave them, which threatens their source of livelihood and deprives them of harvesting their crops.
