The "Coalition" announces the downing and destruction of a drone in Mecca... and the Houthis comment

The Saudi-led coalition in Yemen announced the interception and destruction of a drone in the Makkah region, while the Iran-backed Houthi group denied targeting Saudi territory on Tuesday. Coalition spokesman Turki Al-Maliki said: “We intercepted and destroyed a drone in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region.”

For his part, the spokesman for the Houthi forces, Yahya Saree, previously said on his page on the “X” platform, Twitter: “The Yemeni armed forces confirm that they did not carry out any operation today towards Saudi territory.” Saree continued: “The defeats inflicted by our armed forces on the Saudi enemy have left him in confusion and confusion, so he began to fabricate events and fabricate facts, claiming and slandering that our armed forces targeted Mecca. This is a slander and a new, old lie that he resorts to whenever he receives slaps in the field at the hands of our heroic mujahideen - may God protect and protect them - and these are the same defeats that prompted him to appeal to the Israeli enemy to intervene on his side against our people. The Mujahid believer,” as he put it.
