The Sultan of Oman, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, is visiting the United Kingdom on a four-day state visit, within the framework of enhancing cooperation between the two countries in various fields and developing it to serve their interests and aspirations. The visit also includes consultation and coordination between the leaderships of the two countries regarding regional and international developments.

Upon his arrival at Stansted Airport, the Sultan was received by the King’s representative and head of the honorary mission, Lord Henry Hood, along with a number of British officials, the Sultanate of Oman’s ambassador to the United Kingdom, Badr bin Muhammad Al-Mandhari, and a number of members of the Omani embassy in London.

According to the Omani News Agency, King Charles III and Queen Camilla are scheduled to hold an official reception ceremony for the Sultan at Windsor Castle, to celebrate his visit.
