Military and political developments in Yemen continue on Tuesday, as the war in Yemen takes a more decisive turn, with the expansion of military operations and the shift of the battle from containing the capabilities of the Houthis to targeting the core of their strength and their deployment sites.

While the legitimate forces announced the recovery of strategic positions in Bab al-Mandab and Dhubab, the coalition continued to strike missile launch platforms and their storage facilities.

For his part, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Rashad Al-Alimi, raised the stakes of confrontation by confirming that operations will not stop until reaching Sana'a.

Alongside the field escalation, a clearer regional and international umbrella is forming; Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Turkey are moving to activate their commitments to collective defense, while Washington reaffirms its support for the security of the Kingdom and its understanding of military movements against the Houthis.

On the ground, in the field developments, the media center of the Taiz axis reported that about 100 members of the Houthi militia were killed and 150 others were injured during offensive operations carried out by the armed forces in the Taiz axis, supported by popular resistance, in several combat fronts as part of the "Fajr Yemen" operation.

The media center of the Taiz axis indicated that the axis forces carried out 5 offensive operations in the Al-Arbaeen fronts north of the city, Al-Aqroud south, and Jabal Habashi west, in addition to the outskirts of Al-Kadhah.

The center also clarified that the armed forces managed during the operations to shoot down 5 of the militia's drones and destroy and disable 6 vehicles and a tank.

The Chief of Staff of the Yemeni Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Saghir bin Aziz, confirmed the continuation of the military operation until every inch of Yemen is liberated.

The spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces, Majid Al-Nazili, explained that the Yemeni army has begun implementing the "Fajr Yemen" operation on a wide scale to target Houthi capabilities and elements.

He stated that the armed forces, under heavy air cover, carried out an "encirclement" operation to control Bab al-Mandab, and that the "Giants Forces" and "National Shield" succeeded in taking control of Bab al-Mandab.

The government forces also besieged elements of the Houthi militias in the Bab al-Mandab sector and on the island of Meyun.

He pointed out that the government forces succeeded in taking control of Dhubab Airport, which is now completely under government control. They are moving to cut off the Houthi group's supply line to the Dhubab area entirely.

For his part, the commander of the National Shield Forces, Major General Abdul Rahman Al-Lahji, indicated that the goal of the battle is to restore the state, protect Yemenis, and end the aggression against their lives by the Houthi militias.

He confirmed that he instructed all fighters to treat Houthi prisoners kindly, stating that anyone who lays down their weapon becomes under the protection of the Yemeni forces, and their protection is a religious and moral duty.

Before that, the President of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, Rashad Alimi, praised the ongoing field progress made by the armed forces and all military formations.

Alimi emphasized the necessity of strict adherence to the rules of law and military discipline while continuing the field progress, affirming that the successes achieved on various fronts reflect the level of preparation and coordination among the armed forces and all military formations.
