“Thirty-five percent”... a veiled message from Mohamed Salah after the victory over Besiktas

Egyptian star Mohamed Salah sent a veiled message to the president of Besiktas club after Trabzonspor, for which “Mo” plays, defeated Besiktas on Monday, in a match during which the “Egyptian King” scored a goal. Salah posted several pictures from the confrontation on his page on the “X” platform, previously Twitter, and commented on them in Turkish, saying: “Thirty-five percent.”

This percentage that Salah mentioned is the percentage that the Besiktas president said in previous statements attributed to him that it was the reason for Salah not moving to the club’s ranks. The Besiktas president indicated in those statements issued after the failure of the deal that Salah’s agent, Colombian Rami Abbas, “requested a commission of 35%” of the value of the deal, which the club rejected.

After Trabzonspor succeeded in defeating Besiktas in a match in which Salah scored his eighth goal this season in the Turkish League to top the scorers’ standings, the “Egyptian King” apparently wanted to remind the Besiktas president of that percentage.
