The Yemeni armed forces continued, today Tuesday, for the second consecutive day, their field advance on the southern front of Marib Governorate as part of the "Dawn of Yemen" operation, amid ongoing retreats and continuous human and material losses within the Houthi militias.

A military source told the armed forces' media center to the "Saba" agency that the army soldiers "managed today to repel the Houthi militias from wide areas and strategic sites, most notably the Thamad mountain range, Al-Qaimah, Al-Muqaylat, Akd Al-Qaimah, Al-Rasid, and the surrounding desert areas."

The source added that "the battles resulted in dozens of militia members being killed, wounded, or captured, in addition to the destruction of three vehicles, and the disabling of combat vehicles, with those on board among the dead and wounded."

The source indicated that the Yemeni air defenses managed to shoot down an enemy drone.

The Yemeni armed forces thwarted, last night, Houthi attempts to regain the positions they lost since the launch of the "Yemen Dawn" operation, forcing the militia to retreat and flee after inflicting losses in personnel and equipment.
