The Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry in Syria, Basil Abdel Hanan, discussed with a delegation from the Chinese company "Qinhuangdao Shihaidayi Glass", which specializes in the glass industry, investment opportunities in Syria, and the possibility of establishing industrial partnerships that contribute to developing this sector and enhancing its production capabilities.
The Ministry said on Sunday that the meeting took place at the Directorate of Industry in Aleppo, and discussed the prospects for joint cooperation and the possibility of the company entering the Syrian market through direct investment or establishing a strategic partnership, allowing for the benefit of Chinese expertise and technologies in developing the glass industry and expanding production areas.
Abdel-Hanan pointed to the facilities and benefits that the government provides to investors, and the efforts aimed at creating an attractive investment environment and attracting foreign capital, in a way that supports the development of national industry and enhances opportunities for economic cooperation, according to the Syrian News Agency, SANA.
For their part, representatives of the Chinese company expressed their interest in the investment opportunities available in Syria, and their desire to study investment possibilities or enter into a strategic partnership in the field of the glass industry.
The Chinese company "Qinhuangdao Shihaidayi Glass", which specializes in exporting glass and its products, is headquartered in the city of Qinhuangdao in Hebei Province, northern China, and provides a variety of products, including transparent, colored, reflective, laminated and insulating glass, in addition to mirrors and glass used in buildings, cars and decorative works. The company operates in foreign markets, and its products reach more than 110 countries.
