Helmy explained that he had a strong desire to be next to Mona Zaki at this exceptional moment, as usual, but urgent and compelling circumstances forced him to suddenly travel to the British capital, London, to stand next to their daughter, “Li Li,” who has been residing there for some time.

He added that his travel came to settle some matters related to his daughter’s residence, in addition to completing banking procedures that require his personal presence and cannot be postponed, which prevented him from heading to El Gouna with his wife, the star Mona Zaki.

The Egyptian star confirmed that he was keen to follow the opening ceremony and the moment his wife was honored, moment by moment, saying: “I was overjoyed as I watched my wife, my beloved, and the mother of my children being honored with the Creative Achievement Award, and I was keen, of course, to congratulate her immediately. I also expressed my feelings and pride in her through a post I shared on Instagram.”

Actress Mona Zaki received the “Creative Achievement Award” in celebration of her outstanding contributions to cinema and television over the course of a busy artistic career spanning more than twenty years.
