America is considering using the “mother of all bombs” against Iran

Washington - Ofoq News - American officials said that the US military has made plans to launch strikes that may include the use of a GBU-43/B bomb, also known as the “Mother of All Bombs,” against energy infrastructure and nuclear sites in Iran, if US President Donald Trump orders the resumption of combat operations, CNN reported.

The use of this bomb, the largest non-nuclear weapon in the US arsenal, would be considered a dangerous escalation in the conflict, but officials familiar with military planning discussions told the network that questions remain about its feasibility in achieving Washington's strategic goals.

The GBU-43 bomb is the most powerful conventional weapon in America's arsenal, with a weight of up to 10 tons. It was developed by Boeing to operate on the principle of air explosion, which generates a shock wave that destroys tunnels and caves.
