Egypt condemned the attacks that targeted the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and targeted King Khalid Airport in Riyadh, which resulted in the death of three Saudi citizens and the injury of a number of civilians, stressing its categorical rejection of these attacks and its full solidarity with the Kingdom in the measures it takes to protect its security and the safety of its citizens.
The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed, in a press statement issued today, Saturday, that these attacks represent a flagrant violation of international law, stressing that attacks targeting the security of countries and the safety of their citizens, including targeting air traffic, undermine international and regional security and stability.
Egypt expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the government and people, for the victims of the attacks, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
Egypt's condemnation comes within the framework of its position rejecting attacks targeting the security of Arab countries and the safety of their territories and citizens, and its emphasis on the importance of respecting the rules of international law, maintaining the security and stability of the region, and not targeting civilian installations, means of transportation and air navigation, as this may pose a threat to the lives of civilians and undermine regional and international stability.
