Dresses that embody royalty at Elie Saab's Parisian show

Dubai, United Arab Emirates - Lebanese designer Elie Saab presented his Fall/Winter 2026 haute couture collection titled “La Nouvelle Cour”, during a special show in Paris. The collection was inspired by the idea of ​​the “new square” and presents a modern vision of the bold and feminine woman, through designs that combine luxury and geometric structure.

The group focused on re-presenting the French corset in a new way, as it appeared in various styles: with black velvet fabric, or with a sculpted metal design, or combined with layers of lace. This basic element aims to highlight the body with clear femininity without abandoning the element of strength in the design. The silhouettes are characterized by dramatic volumes that create a striking movement in the pieces made of Mwari fabric, either through openings that reveal the skin or a cinched waist in a theatrical style.

The colors varied between pastel shades such as light pink, aqua blue, and mint, in addition to black and imperial gold. Flowers emerged as a basic decorative element through prints and brocades, giving the collection a rich, romantic character.

Embroidered bow details were repeated on sheer chiffon or added to the back of feathered dresses. Luxury bags were displayed, displaying high craftsmanship in their details, which constituted an extension of the world of couture accessories by the Lebanese designer.

For evening looks, Saab chose long velvet capes that touched the ground. The group concluded its presentation with a dress embroidered with luminous floral motifs inspired by moonlight, with a huge skirt in the color of shiny pearls.
