Five days after starting work: Katie Zacharias was fired

Washington - Ofoq News - CNN revealed on Friday that White House Press Secretary Katie Zakaria had been fired just five days after assuming the position, breaking the record set by Anthony Scaramucci, who served in the first Trump administration for only ten days.

The reports come shortly after Trump himself hinted that she would not continue in her role, telling reporters at the White House that Zakaria, who appeared nervous and hastily ended her first news conference — and who later faced accusations of impersonating a lawyer — should reconsider the role. Addressing her through reporters, Trump said: “Katie, do you really need this? I don’t think you do.”
