Future risks

There is almost a consensus among prominent philosophers, thinkers and scientists in the East and West that the future contains within it a number of risks without limits, all of which are linked to scientific progress and technological development. Some of these risks lie in the potential results of the widespread surrender to what we call artificial intelligence, and the radical changes it brings to lifestyles, thinking patterns, the type of decisions resulting from that, and the consequences associated with it, both good and bad. Just as the current nuclear activity is a natural result of ongoing research into... Atomic science and its tremendous discoveries that humans have known in the past century, which ended with two atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, so the world entered directly into the nuclear age, which has become the focus of conflict and the arena of confrontation between different countries. The cycle of artificial intelligence, with its various and almost certain dangers, will be a bell ringing in the ears of humans, so that they realize that the future has its risks and that scientific progress has its negatives as well. As for the second danger, it is already imminent and some have become clear. Its manifestations in our current lives, by which I mean the consequences of climate change on the entire planet. The seasons of the year no longer pass as they did in the past. Rather, today we face the intense anger of nature in retaliation for human tampering with the course of the universe and its various challenges. We follow the successive disasters of torrential floods, burning forests, and polluted rivers, all of which stand before the human being, who is facing earthquakes, volcanoes, and temperatures that rise day after day, in addition to the changing weather. With floods here and drought there, all of this requires that we expect entire cities to disappear in the depthsGlobal warming, which leads to the erosion of beaches, and the entry of the entire planet into a new cycle that is difficult to anticipate or ignore. It is surprising that the world that has lined up to confront the phenomenon of climate change is also today witnessing negative dealing with this dangerous phenomenon, and being content with some resonant expressions here and there about it. It is enough to remember the decision of US President Donald Trump to withdraw the United States of America from the climate change agreement and to underestimate the efforts made in this context, and consider them issues. Propaganda does not deserve this attention. If we move to the challenge, which is the third danger that is related to the creation of a number of harmful microbes and dangerous viruses, we will find that it threatens humanity greatly, and we must not forget the major humanitarian catastrophe that the world has experienced for almost three years in combating the Corona virus, and reducing its risks to human lives. Then we discovered after that that it came through a synthetic interaction in scientific laboratories and research centers, especially in China, which is racing against time for scientific excellence, research effort, and technological progress in front of the United States of America. As for the danger, The fourth is water scarcity, the great conflict over pure water sources, and the clash over rivers controlled by upstream countries at the expense of downstream countries, as is happening these days to Egypt and Sudan in light of the arrogance represented by the ruling regime in Ethiopia. I now add a fifth dimension to these risks, which is the decline in global energy production rates and the noticeable decrease in its generation from its various sources, including nuclear energy itself. Therefore, I have no doubt that the world will face a major crisis in energy sources, starting withFrom fossil fuels to natural gas to human employment.

I also have no doubt that the coming concerns and the successive and expected crises will consume a large portion of energy sources in light of climate changes that are difficult to deny their existence and deal with their consequences. All of humanity, in light of diligent scientific research activity in the face of those challenges that we mentioned above, needs more awareness and awakening, in order to be able to confront these coming crises and chronic problems, especially since man is by nature the enemy of what he does not know, and therefore generalization is infinitely dangerous, but serious education and scientific research are. The Savior plays an essential role in moving people forward and focusing on the early confrontation of everything that we used to see as a kind of exaggeration, but it turns into a current reality that faces us day after day.

I do not see a stage in the history of humanity in which people need complete solidarity and deep awareness of the various stations at which the human journey will stop, like this current stage with all its conflicts, in order for man, the master of all beings and the successor of God on earth, to survive.
