- Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf called on US Vice President, J.D. Vance, to say what he mentioned in his lengthy post after the midterm election results, “to his president,” noting that Trump is preparing for the next phase of the war at a time when “America is standing on the brink of the abyss,” according to him. Qalibaf re-published Vance’s post on his page on the “X” platform, Twitter previously, and commented: “The energy of a losing gambler; no ability to walk away from the table.”
The Iranian Parliament Speaker added: “The president is paving the way for the next phase of the war, while America stands on the brink of the abyss because of Israel’s policy first.” Qalibaf continued, addressing Vance: “Forget the TED lectures; why don’t you confront your boss with this talk?”
US Vice President J.D. Vance held the war with Iran directly responsible for the extremely poor performance of the Republicans in the midterm elections, in a lengthy post on Wednesday.
