Salfit - Afaq News - Israeli occupation forces arrested seven citizens from the cities of Salfit and Bruqin early this Tuesday morning, including the Secretary of the Fatah Movement in the Salfit region, Nihad Al-Naoura, following raids on their homes and tampering with their contents.
Citizens reported that the occupation forces stormed the city of Salfit during the early hours and raided the home of the Secretary of the Fatah Movement in the Salfit region, Nihad Al-Naoura, and arrested him after searching his house and tampering with its contents, while they also raided the home of his brother Mahmoud and assaulted him.
In the town of Bruqin, west of Salfit, the director of the Bruqin municipality stated that the occupation forces raided several citizens' homes and arrested five citizens, including a school principal, after searching their homes and tampering with their contents.
The detainees in Bruqin are: Abdullah Salman, the principal of Bruqin Secondary School for Boys and a member of the Bruqin municipality, Tahr Samara, the son of the mayor, and teachers Nazem Amer, Salah Nizar Amer, and Amjad Abdul-Raouf Salman.
These incursions and arrests come amid escalating Israeli military measures in the Salfit governorate, which continuously witnesses home raids, tampering with their contents, and arrests of citizens.
