“The brown color suits her.” Mona Zaki’s fashion stylist reveals the scenes of her looks

In an interview with the Ofoq News website in Arabic, Lebanese fashion stylist Cedric Haddad revealed the behind-the-scenes of his collaboration with Zaki, highlighting pivotal milestones in their joint journey. Haddad pointed out that the most prominent milestones of this cooperation were her appearance during the Cannes Film Festival in 2023, when the Egyptian actress appeared in a dress from the Zuhair Murad Haute Couture collection, with the cut of a princess skirt, with hand drawings resembling small boats, in a look that matched the movie “Flight 404,” where she appeared on the boat in some of its scenes.

The look seemed like a visual extension of the dramatic situation that was embodied on the screen, where the story met the design, and the scene was completed with a look that Haddad described as “an exceptional moment by all standards.” As for Zaki’s personal style, Haddad confirmed that what distinguishes her is her ability to combine boldness, elegance, and femininity at the same time, which gives him wide creative space to present bold looks without fear, especially since her flexible personality and confident presence allow her to experiment with unconventional cuts and multiple color options, while maintaining her elegant, classic style.

Regarding keeping up with international trends, Haddad indicated that he does not deal with “trend” as a binding rule, but rather as a selective reference, as he believes that not everything that is popular is suitable for application to stars. Therefore, he is keen to follow the fashion shows of international fashion weeks and extract what suits Zaki in terms of her personality, figure, and general image.

He cites the color brown, which was one of the most prominent trends of last season, and which he carefully chose for her during a joint shopping session, so that they could discover together how compatible it was with her skin and features.
