The spokesman for the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, announced, on Saturday-Sunday night, the interception of two ballistic missiles launched by the Houthi militias towards Khamis Mushait.
Before that, the Saudi Civil Defense sent a warning via telephone to residents of the capital, Riyadh. The warning, which was lifted a few minutes later, said: “The area is under a hostile air threat. Please act calmly and stay at home or in a safe place away from windows and doors.”
The Saudi Civil Defense announced on the X platform that two similar warnings had been issued in the city of Abha and Khamis Mushait Governorate in the south of the Kingdom.
In a related context, the Legitimacy Support Coalition published clips of air force operations to intercept cruise missiles and drones launched by the Houthi militias.
The coalition also published footage of targeting and destroying two platforms in Saada for launching ballistic missiles after monitoring their use in launching towards Saudi Arabia.
