Al-Shaibani from Riyadh: The security of Saudi Arabia is the security of Syria and the region

On Friday, Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Hassan Al-Shaibani discussed with his Saudi counterpart, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, in the capital, Riyadh, the latest regional developments and ways to strengthen bilateral relations, stressing Syria’s solidarity with the Kingdom in the face of the recent attacks that affected civilian facilities. The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, in a statement carried by the Syrian News Agency, SANA, that the two sides discussed ways to strengthen relations between the two countries and support efforts aimed at establishing security and stability in the region.

Al-Shaibani affirmed “the solidarity of the Syrian Arab Republic and its full stand with the Kingdom in the face of the recent attacks that targeted civilian facilities,” stressing that “the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the security of Syria and the region,” according to SANA. Al-Shaibani arrived in Riyadh, on Thursday, on an official visit during which he heads a high-level delegation, within the framework of strengthening consultation and developing bilateral relations between the two countries, according to the Media and Communication Department of the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
