US President Donald Trump accused Iran of "fabricating attacks" in the Strait of Hormuz in order to raise oil prices before the US midterm elections, repeating the phrase he has often said throughout the months of the war that "Iran will never possess a nuclear weapon." Trump wrote on his page on the Truth Social platform: “Iran is doing its utmost to raise oil prices ahead of the midterm elections in the United States. It is even resorting to fabricating fake attacks, planting mines, and the like, while the quantities of oil currently passing through the Strait of Hormuz exceed those that were transported through it even before the outbreak of the conflict.”
The US President continued: “They continue to kill protesters, and everyone who gets in their way. It is a truly evil regime, and I can only hope that the American people - and the entire world - realize the extent of their evil!”
75,000 protesters have been killed in less than seven months. "It's shocking that the world, as well as the Democratic Party, don't seem to care."
Trump concluded by saying: “Iran can never possess a nuclear weapon, and it will never possess a nuclear weapon!”
