Czech international Al Hazm goalkeeper Jendrij Stanek hopes to get the first positive result when he faces Al Hilal stars, Portuguese Ruben Neves and Frenchman Theo Hernandez, again on Monday in the tenth round of the Saudi Roshen League.
Al-Hilal occupies second place in the league club standings, one point and a match behind Al-Qadisiyah, before hosting Al-Hazm at Kingdom Arena on Monday.
Stanek will have a new meeting with Theo Hernandez, whom he faced in two previous matches, and with Neves, whom he faced once at the international level.
Stanek's confrontation with Neves was in the 2022 European Nations League, when he lost to Portugal, receiving a brace from Joao Cancelo and Gonzalo Guedes.
Stanek's two matches against Hernandez were in the 16-final of the European League 2023-2024. At that time, the first was a player for Slavia Prague and the other for Italian Milan. The first leg ended 4-2 for the latter, while the return match saw the Al-Hazm goalkeeper lose 3-1, at which time Theo contributed by assisting the second goal in the match.
